The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,899.96) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Felipe Castañeda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maternity in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,483.29).
