Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mujer Desnuda by Felipe Castañeda was sold in the Modern Design | Art auction at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,759.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Felipe Castañeda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maternity in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,483.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mujer Desnuda von Felipe Castañeda wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Design | Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.759,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Felipe Castañeda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maternity im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.483,29).
