The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,699.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Felipe Castañeda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maternity in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 91,000.00 (€ 58,483.29).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Seated Nude) von Felipe Castañeda kam im Mai 2013 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.699,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felipe Castañeda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maternity im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 91.000,00 (€ 58.483,29).
