In the Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics auction, the work Natura morta con testa di gesso e libri sold for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 38,441.30) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Felice Casorati achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lo studio in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 605,600.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Felice Casorati erzielte im Februar 2016 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art & Picasso Ceramics wurde die Arbeit Natura morta con testa di gesso e libri für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 38.441,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Felice Casorati erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lo studio im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 605.600,00.
