A top price for Felice Casorati - as previously expected
The work Lo studio by Felice Casorati was auctioned at Christies in Milan in November 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 600,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 605,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lo studio is the most expensive artwork by Felice Casorati that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Lo studio von Felice Casorati kam im November 2008 bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 605.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Lo studio das teuerste Kunstwerk von Felice Casorati, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
