Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle, which included the work Vue De Menton by Fausto Zonaro. The price achieved of EUR 9,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Zonaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 941,000.00 (€ 1,292,210.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Tableaux et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue De Menton von Fausto Zonaro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Zonaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian bayram (The Celebration) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 941.000,00 (€ 1.292.210,00).
