Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Tenth of Muharram by Fausto Zonaro was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,811.75), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Zonaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 941,000.00 (€ 1,292,210.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Tenth of Muharram von Fausto Zonaro kam im Oktober 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 32.760,00 (€ 38.811,75) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Zonaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian bayram (The Celebration) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 941.000,00 (€ 1.292.210,00).
