The work Punta Di Scutari by Fausto Zonaro was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in September 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,388.77), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Zonaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 941,000.00 (€ 1,292,210.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Punta Di Scutari von Fausto Zonaro wurde im September 2015 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.388,77) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Zonaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian bayram (The Celebration) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 941.000,00 (€ 1.292.210,00).
