This price was achieved in the auction The Orientalist Sale at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Fausto Zonaro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 941,000.00 (€ 1,292,210.00).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
