This artwork by Fausto Zonaro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2015. In the The Orientalist Sale auction, the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) sold for GBP 161,000.00 (€ 221,090.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fausto Zonaro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 941,000.00 (€ 1,292,210.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fausto Zonaro erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Orientalist Sale wurde die Arbeit Italian bayram (The Celebration) für GBP 161.000,00 (€ 221.090,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fausto Zonaro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian bayram (The Celebration) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 941.000,00 (€ 1.292.210,00).
