Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work Italian allegory Of Spring by Fausto Zonaro. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 22,835.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fausto Zonaro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Italian bayram (The Celebration) in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 941,000.00 (€ 1,292,210.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian allegory Of Spring von Fausto Zonaro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 22.835,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fausto Zonaro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Italian bayram (The Celebration) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 941.000,00 (€ 1.292.210,00).
