Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Fang Yi achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2014. In the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 32,200.00 (€ 3,315.08) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Yi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dragon in the Cloud, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,423.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Yi erzielte im Oktober 2014 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 32.200,00 (€ 3.315,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Yi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dragon in the Cloud beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.423,50) versteigert wurde.
