Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ink Dragon by Fang Yi was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 25,960.00 (€ 3,163.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Yi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dragon in the Cloud, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,423.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ink Dragon von Fang Yi wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 25.960,00 (€ 3.163,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Yi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dragon in the Cloud beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.423,50) versteigert wurde.
