Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Home On The Mountain Where Clouds Rise by Fang Jun was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 75,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,561.44). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Jun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wild Geese Appear for a Good Autumn, which sold at auction in August last year for HKD 271,400.00 (€ 34,353.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Home On The Mountain Where Clouds Rise von Fang Jun kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 75.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.561,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Jun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wild Geese Appear for a Good Autumn beobachtet, die im August letzten Jahres für HKD 271.400,00 (€ 34.353,07) versteigert wurde.
