This artwork by Fang Jun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. In the The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art auction, the work Spiritual Mountain And Water sold for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,491.43) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fang Jun - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wild Geese Appear for a Good Autumn, which sold at auction in August last year for HKD 271,400.00 (€ 34,353.07).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Jun erzielte im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Origo Collection — Contemporary Ink Art wurde die Arbeit Spiritual Mountain And Water für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.491,43) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fang Jun mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wild Geese Appear for a Good Autumn beobachtet, die im August letzten Jahres für HKD 271.400,00 (€ 34.353,07) versteigert wurde.
