Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Various Animals by Fang Chuxiong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 44,100.00 (€ 5,284.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fang Chuxiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cat in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Various Animals von Fang Chuxiong kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 44.100,00 (€ 5.284,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cat im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
