Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Monkey by Fang Chuxiong. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,094.93). Admittedly, works by Fang Chuxiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cat in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monkey von Fang Chuxiong zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.094,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cat im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
