Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Rabits under Osmanthus, 1999 by Fang Chuxiong was auctioned at Bonhams in September this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 7,680.00 (€ 926.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Chuxiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cat in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Rabits under Osmanthus, 1999 von Fang Chuxiong kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 7.680,00 (€ 926,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cat im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
