Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In February this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online, which included the work Spring Rabbits by Fang Chuxiong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 35,280.00 (€ 4,239.46), 18% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Chuxiong achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cat in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spring Rabbits von Fang Chuxiong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 35.280,00 (€ 4.239,46) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cat im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
