Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Puppies by Fang Chuxiong was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 150,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 180,000.00 (€ 22,460.30) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Fang Chuxiong have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April this year the work Cat was auctioned for HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Puppies von Fang Chuxiong kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 150.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 180.000,00 (€ 22.460,30) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April diesen Jahres die Arbeit Cat für HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22) versteigert.
