Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Animals by Fang Chuxiong was sold in the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,570.46). Admittedly, works by Fang Chuxiong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cat in April this year with an auction result of HKD 42,000.00 (€ 42,890.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Animals von Fang Chuxiong wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.570,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fang Chuxiong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cat im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 42.000,00 (€ 42.890,22).
