Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Flower in Vase by Fan Zhibin. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,549.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Zhibin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sketching at Mount Daqingshan of InnerMongolia, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 195,500.00 (€ 20,127.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower in Vase von Fan Zhibin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.549,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Zhibin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sketching at Mount Daqingshan of InnerMongolia beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 195.500,00 (€ 20.127,29) versteigert wurde.
