Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Peaches by Fan Tchunpi was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 604,800.00 (€ 72,491.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 21%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Tchunpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flute Player in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,110,892.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Peaches von Fan Tchunpi wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 604.800,00 (€ 72.491,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 21%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Tchunpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Flute Player im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.110.892,17).
