Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chrysanthemum by Fan Tchunpi was sold in the Chinese Works of Art Online auction at Bonhams in New York in November 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,785.00 (€ 1,581.47), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Tchunpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flute Player in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,110,892.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum von Fan Tchunpi wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Chinese Works of Art Online bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 1.785,00 (€ 1.581,47) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Tchunpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Flute Player im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.110.892,17).
