Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Hong Kong Harbor by Fan Tchunpi for HKD 27,720.00 (€ 3,322.55). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art Day Sale at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fan Tchunpi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Flute Player in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 9,440,000.00 (€ 1,110,892.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Hong Kong Harbor von Fan Tchunpi für HKD 27.720,00 (€ 3.322,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fan Tchunpi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Flute Player im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 9.440.000,00 (€ 1.110.892,17).
