Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2021 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Street Scene by Fan Ho. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 107,100.00 (€ 11,466.73). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fan Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Approaching Shadow, 1954, which sold at auction in April 2018 for USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,340.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street Scene von Fan Ho zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 107.100,00 (€ 11.466,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fan Ho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Approaching Shadow, 1954 beobachtet, die im April 2018 für USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.340,73) versteigert wurde.
