Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On The Stage Of Life by Fan Ho was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,396.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fan Ho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Approaching Shadow, 1954 in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 39,340.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On The Stage Of Life von Fan Ho kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.396,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fan Ho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Approaching Shadow, 1954 im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 39.340,73).
