This artwork by Fa Ruozhen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Running Script Calligraphy sold for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 22,237.97) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fa Ruozhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 11,050,000.00 (€ 1,228,648.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fa Ruozhen erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 22.237,97) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fa Ruozhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.050.000,00 (€ 1.228.648,00).
