In April 2019 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I, which included the work Calligraphy by Fa Ruozhen. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 365,800.00 (€ 41,638.69), 46% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fa Ruozhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 11,050,000.00 (€ 1,228,648.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 46 % übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy von Fa Ruozhen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 365.800,00 (€ 41.638,69) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fa Ruozhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.050.000,00 (€ 1.228.648,00).
