Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Fa Ruozhen was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 252,000.00 (€ 26,980.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fa Ruozhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 11,050,000.00 (€ 1,228,648.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Fa Ruozhen wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 252.000,00 (€ 26.980,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fa Ruozhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.050.000,00 (€ 1.228.648,00).
