Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Fa Ruozhen. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,339.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fa Ruozhen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cursive Script Calligraphy in November 2021 with an auction result of HKD 11,050,000.00 (€ 1,228,648.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Fa Ruozhen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.339,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fa Ruozhen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cursive Script Calligraphy im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 11.050.000,00 (€ 1.228.648,00).
