Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary, which included the work Untitled (Serie 3/Entwurf Nr. 78) by Ewerdt Hilgemann. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ewerdt Hilgemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Imploded Column in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,299.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Serie 3/Entwurf Nr. 78) von Ewerdt Hilgemann zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ewerdt Hilgemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Imploded Column im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.299,08).
