Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Implosion by Ewerdt Hilgemann for EUR 3,780.00. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ewerdt Hilgemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Imploded Column in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,299.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Implosion von Ewerdt Hilgemann für EUR 3.780,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ewerdt Hilgemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Imploded Column im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.299,08).
