Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Small Implosion, 2001 by Ewerdt Hilgemann was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. It achieved a price of USD 4,080.00 (€ 4,170.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ewerdt Hilgemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Imploded Column in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 60,299.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Small Implosion, 2001 von Ewerdt Hilgemann kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.080,00 (€ 4.170,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ewerdt Hilgemann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Imploded Column im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 60.299,08).
