Artwork auctioned at seven times the upper estimate price
The work The Indian Stand at the Great Exhibition of 1851 by Eugène-Louis Lami was worth USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,348.94) to a buyer in September 2017. This price was achieved in the auction The Collection of Paul F. Walter at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 1,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène-Louis Lami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of A Charity Sale For The Victims Of Guadeloupe In The Grand Salon Of The Palais-Royal, Paris in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 95,670.13).
Kunstwerk zum Siebenfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit The Indian Stand at the Great Exhibition of 1851 von Eugène-Louis Lami war einem Käufer im September 2017 USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.348,94) wert. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Of A Charity Sale For The Victims Of Guadeloupe In The Grand Salon Of The Palais-Royal, Paris im Juli 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.750,00 (€ 95.670,13).
