This work of art by Eugène-Louis Lami could be acquired at Christies in New York in January 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master and British Drawings auction, the work Rinaldo In Armida'S Garden: Design For A Fan changed hands for USD 3,250.00 (€ 3,000.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène-Louis Lami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of A Charity Sale For The Victims Of Guadeloupe In The Grand Salon Of The Palais-Royal, Paris in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 95,670.13).
