Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,090.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène-Louis Lami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of A Charity Sale For The Victims Of Guadeloupe In The Grand Salon Of The Palais-Royal, Paris in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 95,670.13).
