Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eugène-Louis Lami could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work A Royal Procession Descending a Stairway in a Garden changed hands for USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,761.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugène-Louis Lami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Of A Charity Sale For The Victims Of Guadeloupe In The Grand Salon Of The Palais-Royal, Paris in July 2001 with an auction result of GBP 58,750.00 (€ 95,670.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eugène-Louis Lami konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
