Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Vente en ligne d'Art Contemporain, which included the work Espace by Eugène Leroy. The price achieved of EUR 62,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Eugène Leroy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work without title was auctioned for EUR 94,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Vente en ligne d'Art Contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Espace von Eugène Leroy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 62.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Eugène Leroy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 94.500,00 versteigert.
