Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Good Catch by Eugen von Blaas was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2020. The price achieved of GBP 62,500.00 (€ 68,832.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugen von Blaas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 615,000.00 (€ 540,469.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Good Catch von Eugen von Blaas kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 62.500,00 (€ 68.832,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugen von Blaas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 615.000,00 (€ 540.469,29).
