Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Sothebys in London held the auction European & British Art, Part I, which included the work The Laundress by Eugen von Blaas. The price achieved of GBP 94,500.00 (€ 112,849.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eugen von Blaas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 615,000.00 (€ 540,469.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European & British Art, Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Laundress von Eugen von Blaas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 94.500,00 (€ 112.849,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eugen von Blaas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 615.000,00 (€ 540.469,29).
