Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of an Italian Young Woman by Eugen von Blaas was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January last year. The price achieved of USD 56,700.00 (€ 50,570.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eugen von Blaas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 615,000.00 (€ 540,469.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of an Italian Young Woman von Eugen von Blaas kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 50.570,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eugen von Blaas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Maiden With A Basket Of Roses im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 615.000,00 (€ 540.469,29).
