The work Nude by Euan Uglow was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2008. The auction ended at the price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,512.50), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Euan Uglow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress in March this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Nude von Euan Uglow kam im März 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.512,50) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Euan Uglow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35).
