Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Italian girl by Euan Uglow was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2017. The auction ended at the price of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 68,328.81), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Euan Uglow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Striding Nude, Blue Dress in March this year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 573,397.35).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Italian girl von Euan Uglow kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 68.328,81) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Euan Uglow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Striding Nude, Blue Dress im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 573.397,35).
