In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Cuscino (Pillow) by Ettore Spalletti. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 16,656.22), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ettore Spalletti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Azzurro in June last year with an auction result of EUR 201,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cuscino (Pillow) von Ettore Spalletti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 16.656,22) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ettore Spalletti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Azzurro im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 201.600,00.
