Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Così com'è, bianco by Ettore Spalletti was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale auction at Christies in Milan in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 62,500.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ettore Spalletti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Azzurro, which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 201,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Così com'è, bianco von Ettore Spalletti wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 62.500,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ettore Spalletti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Azzurro beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 201.600,00 versteigert wurde.
