Upper estimate price exceeded by 47 %.
This work without title by Etsu Egami was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 88,200.00 (€ 10,153.38), 47% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Etsu Egami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rainbow in April this year with an auction result of HKD 264,000.00 (€ 269,595.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 47 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Etsu Egami wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 88.200,00 (€ 10.153,38) und damit 47% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Etsu Egami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rainbow im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 264.000,00 (€ 269.595,65).
