It achieved a price of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,600.18), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. Admittedly, works by Esphyr Slobodkina have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Toys in the Attic in July last year with an auction result of USD 69,300.00 (€ 67,927.86).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.600,18) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Esphyr Slobodkina auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Toys in the Attic im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 69.300,00 (€ 67.927,86).
