Auction result well in line with expectations
The work German the Temple Of Seti I, Abydos by Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2010. It changed hands for a price of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,721.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View Across the Golden Horn, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque beyond, Constantinople in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 134,939.32).

Die Arbeit German the Temple Of Seti I, Abydos von Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.721,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
