Auction result misses estimated price range
In April this year a collector was able to acquire the work "Interiör med fåglar, lila grön" by Ernst Billgren for SEK 80,000.00 (€ 7,072.46). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art & Design at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 125,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ernst Billgren have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Ekorre" (Squirrel) in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 410,000.00 (€ 43,307.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit "Interiör med fåglar, lila grön" von Ernst Billgren für SEK 80.000,00 (€ 7.072,46) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 125.000,00 – 150.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernst Billgren auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Ekorre" (Squirrel) im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 410.000,00 (€ 43.307,99).
